These Canadian Championship tournaments will be held at Sherwood High School In Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on both a Saturday and a Sunday in November. Karate competition Saturday and Grappling competition on Sunday.
The hosts for these Tournaments are internationally known and respected karate champions, Rick Joslin and his son, Jeff. Rick, three times Canadian Champion, has been teaching students in Hamilton, Ontario for over forty years. Jeff, currently the chief instructor at the Club, has attained 5 World Titles in the Martial Arts Championships. Joslin's Karate and Kickboxing is rated as one of the top martial arts schools in Canada.
Last year's Joslin's Canadian Open was a great success. Over 2,500 people attended each event making it one of the most successful tournaments in Ontario. We have expanded our seating area by 500 seats for this year's event to accommodate a large number of spectators. Rick and Jeff would like to invite you to participate in these unique events of national stature endorsed by the PMA (Professional Martial Arts Alliance) These Tournaments will attract competitors from major clubs throughout North America.
